Encrypted Instructions in Covert Hypnosis

The encrypted instructions are used in covert hypnosis to give some message to the unconscious mind without the knowledge of conscious mind.

Encrypted questions are instructions disguised instruction within a question.

Encrypted instructions can be given to the subject in three ways.

1. Encrypted Questions
2. Substitution
3. Reversal

Encrypted Questions

Normally instructions are given carelessly in a format like,

“Hey you, clean that Room.”

Such type of instructions will often create a negative impact in the mind of the subject and initiate resistance. No one like others ordering to them. But instead if you say something like,

“Hey man, let me see how quickly you can clean that room”.

This is encrypted instruction model. The instruction to clean the room is still there, but the impact it creates is different. The instruction is presented in the form of a question and it helps in two ways.

1.It is not an order anymore and hence the conscious mind cannot defend it.

2.The instruction goes to the subconscious mind while the conscious mind concentrates on the question “How quickly”.

The question can be made more effective emphasizing instruction portion of the question using sound modulation. But this requires a little practice by listening to how others are handling it or listening to recordings of covert hypnosis training.

Substitution for Encryption

This method works by substituting your words with alternate words often referring to someone else have said or as others opinion. The subject may not be willing to take your instructions or opinion seriously, and then you can replace the source with someone who have a emotional impact on the subject.

For example you want take one your coworker to participate in a seminar on social development. Normally you may ask,

“There is a good seminar on Social Development, would you like to come with me”.

Now, let us try to present this using the substitution technique.

“The director has recommended me to attend a seminar on Social Development, would you like to come with me”.

You haven’t done anything just changed “good” with “recommendation of director” and the difference will be amazing. Your subject will jump into it.

To use this technique, identify the things or people that have impact or influence on the subject. Also make sure that you are true and accurate about the things you are saying. Substitution doesn’t mean to tell lies.

Reversal Method

Some people have the tendency to do just the opposite of what you are saying. So reversal means directly giving opposite instructions to what you really need. To get the car washed you may say,

“Don’t wash the car”.

The subject will immediately wash it. But this is not covert hypnosis, it is plain reverse psychology. In covert hypnosis we will embed the reversed instruction in a story and attach the outcome secretly at the end of the story.

For example to get the car washed, we would say something like,

“I have a philosophical friend who uses to find happiness in doing things that have to be completed in the weekend. He says it gives him great excitement and confidence to face the next week. He told me that he once washed his car and felt great when the car was looking clean and beautiful after that. I don’t want you to do the same, but the idea is great”.

Change the subject subtly and move on to other things. But you have fixed the message secretly in the subconscious mind of the subject. You did not give any order or direction to do something, just told a general story. But the subject will be looking forward to wash the car.

Always use covert hypnosis fully and completely. Do not wait till all the other methods of traditional methods are failed to apply covert hypnosis.
